TOPIC #1: Pathways to Growth
SPEAKER: Leah Ryan

About the presentation: In our Pathways to Growth: 2023 Advisor Benchmark Study, we surveyed more than 1,500 advisors to identify the behaviors and skills that helped drive double the growth at select practices. These higher impact activities fall into three categories advisors can look to as they seek to grow. Together we’ll learn more about the survey findings and identify potential areas of optimization for your practice.

About the Speaker: Leah Ryan is an Advisor Practice Management Consultant at Capital Group, home of the American Funds. In her role she teaches, coaches and provides practice management consulting expertise to top financial advisors. Leah joined Capital Group in 2021. Leah is a seasoned financial services professional with more than 25 years of experience in investing and insurance. She holds a BBA in International Business from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.

TOPIC #2: Anatomy Of A Recession
SPEAKER: Corey Hardie

About the presentation: ClearBridge Investments, a specialist investment manager of Franklin Templeton, designed the Anatomy of a Recession (AOR) program to deliver thoughtful perspective on the state of the US economy with concise, practical views updated every month. Our exclusive recession risk and recovery dashboards provide the statistical foundation of our perspective.

About the Speaker: Corey Hardie is a Director, Client Portfolio Manager at ClearBridge Investments. Corey joined ClearBridge in 2014 and has over a decade of industry experience. As a Client Portfolio Manager, Corey provides capital markets and economic analysis, as well as portfolio construction and fundamental equity research insights, to audiences ranging from broker/dealers, financial advisors, institutional clients, and investment consultants. He received a BS in Business Administration from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University, with a concentration in Finance.

Continuing Education: FPA NEO will request credit for these programs, which will total two hours of CE from the CFP® Board of Standards for CFP® designation holders. A general certificate of completion and one for CPA designees who feel the program satisfies their continuing education requirements will also be available.

Reservation Policy: All attendees are encouraged to register in advance before noon 01/16/24 and walk-in reservations will be accepted on a space-available basis only. In person meeting cost is free for FPA members and $60 for non-members. If you reserve and are unable to attend, please call the office or email admin@fpa-neo.org to cancel by noon 01/16/24 to avoid a no-show reservation billing of $10.00.
